JANUS BLUE - Introduction
INDOINE BLUE(INDOINE BLUE) is an organic synthetic dye with the chemical structure of indolinylbenzo acridine (indolinylbenzothiazin). It is a dark blue crystalline powder, soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, dimethyl sulfoxide and ethanol, but almost insoluble in water.
INDOINE BLUE is mainly used as a biological dye and indicator. In biochemical experiments, it is often used for staining and color development to detect the presence and distribution of biological macromolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids and carbohydrates. In addition, INDOINE BLUE can also be used as a microscopic stain for developing tissue sections and cells.
There are many methods for preparing INDOINE BLUE. One of the commonly used methods is to react indoline and 2-thiobenzoacridine under alkaline conditions. The specific method can refer to the relevant literature or patent.
regarding safety information, INDOINE BLUE belongs to chemical dyes and is generally believed to have no obvious toxicity to human body. However, as a chemical substance, some safety precautions still need to be paid attention. When exposed to INDOINE BLUE, it is recommended to wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as lab gloves and safety glasses to avoid contact with skin and eyes. When using INDOINE BLUE, care should be taken to avoid inhaling dust or solution gases. In case of skin contact or ingestion, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately. It is necessary to operate in a well-ventilated environment to avoid the production of toxic gases. In the process of use and preservation, relevant safety regulations and correct operation methods should be followed. If necessary, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) of INDOINE BLUE for more detailed safety information.
